A good year. After 4 years of having my body (shoulders and knees) rebuilt, I'm finally able to do stuff again.

We're travelling again and enjoying all the stuff we missed while I was laid up. Life is good once again.


The Hummers are back but, fewer than last year. I increased my feeders to eight at the start of the season and ended with three. Next season we may be back in the Texas Valley. Then, I'll have more hummers than I can count.
St. Pat's Day

Our Community had it's usual favorite, corned beef and cabage.  I was so full, I couldn't even lay down for a nap.

Here's the Blue Ribbon winners which includes Evelyn, of course.
It's all happening at the zoo

A new feature at the El Paso Zoo is feeding the Giraffes.  What a fun way to spend the day at the zoo.
Waco, Texas Zoo

In May we took a trip to Texas to wander around, looking for a new place to live. We've been in Las Cruces for 7 years now.  So, it's time to move to some place new and exciting.

 
Odessa, Texas STONEHENGE

We found a replica of Stonehenge on the Odessa University campus.  Amazing what you can discover while wandering around our country.
